I had a conversation with someone who was remarking how some people think they are entitled (or the World owes them everything). The world does not owe you ANYTHING! But YOU owe it to yourself to give the world any the people in it to share the BEST YOU that you can.
So during this time of quarantine, find out WHO you are, and give yourself away! Do for OTHERS!
In your life, your business, and your racing world, people buy into YOU! They make a CONNECTION with YOU. They ESTABLISH a RELATIONSHIP with YOU. They build an ATTACHMENT with YOU. And finally they BUY INTO your personal BRAND. They will become a fan for life.
HOW to stay connected: Zoom, Facebook, IG, Twitter, Phone calls, text messages, Face time, Skype, webinars, LinkedIn, Organize a "train" of cars to drive by a friends house, race track, etc; send a card or letter; write a blog and post it on social media; tell stories - what have you been doing, something funny, etc; Facebook Live.
WHO should you stay connected to: Family, friends, race family, track owners and promoters, kids in your life, teachers, hairstylist, coaches, mailman, owners of businesses you frequent, former classmates, dentist, church family, neighbors, members of groups you belong to, pizza delivery guy, - YOU GET THE IDEA!
WHY you should stay connected: Thank you's; people you appreciate; Thinking of You; Life events like birthdays, anniversaries, new babies, new pets; holidays; keep in touch for no reason at all.
